EEEEK!!! You think you see a dead hermit crab in the crage. Not so fast, before you chuck it make sure to see if it really
is a dead crab. Check under all the shells to see if all of you hermies are there and if they are, ONE OF YOUR HERMIES HAS
JUST MOULTED!!! So that crab you thought was dead was accually a hermit crab's exoskeliton but don't throw it away, the hermit
crab that just moulted needs to eat that for extra calcium so his new exoskelon will turn hard. But, if you already threw
it away don't worry you can feed your crab a Cuttlebone, sold in the petstores for birds.

When you find put whta hermit crab has moulting pick him up and put him in his iso-unit with its exoskeliton/cuttlebone.
Keep him in there for about a week or so to let him recover. DON'T wet the area that your crab is under, he will burry himself,
if he is thirsty enough he will come out on his own to get a drink. Make sure to take extra care of your hermie at this time!
